چکیده: در معادل سازی واژ ه های قرآنی، مراجعه به قامو سها و کتب وجوه معنا گاهی مخاطب را از مفهوم اصلی واژه دور می سازد. از سوی دیگر، ارجاع ترجمه ی واژه، به واژ ه های مجاور یا مترادف، این مسئله را شدت می بخشد.واژه های اجتباء ، إصطفا ء، إختیا ر، إصطنا ع و اتخاذ از این قسم هستند که به دلیل نزدیک بودن دایر ه ی معنایی غالباً یکسان ترجمه می شوند، درحالی که میدانیم، هرواژه دارای بار معنایی مخصوص به خود می باشد. این نوشتار، تلاش می کند با استفاده از کاربرد آیات وتفاسیر، به مفهوم اصطفاء و از آنجا به ترجمه مناسبی برای این واژه دست یابد، به گونه ای که در همه کاربردها صدق کند و در خور شأن آیات باشد و در عین حال، مرز آن با واژ ه های نزدیک مشخص باشد. برای دستیابی به این منظور، ابتدا آراء متقدمین در معنا و تفسیر اصطفاء نقل شده و آن گاه به تنزیه معنای آن پرداخته شده است .در ادامه سیر مصطفوین در گذر زمان و درجات معنای اصطفاء آورده شده است .

An Analysis of the Translation and Concept of the Word ‘Estefa’ With a Look at Shared Meaning and Meaning Layers

Abstract:
Finding equivalents for the Quranic words by referring to dictionaries may not enable the translator to convey their real concept to the audience. Moreover, using synonyms or words having closer meanings aggravates this problem. The words ‘ejteba’, ‘estefa’, ‘ekhtiyar’, ‘estena’ and ‘ettekhaz’ are of this kind of nature. These words are often translated identically due to the proximity of their meanings. However, we know that every word has a meaning of its own. Using the applications of the Quranic verses and interpretations, this paper attempts to explore the meaning of the word ‘estefa’ and offer a suitable translation for it, so that it can be applied everywhere, suits the status of the Quranic verses and yet, be distinguished from other closer words. To accomplish this, first, the views of the earlier scholars on the meaning and interpretation of ‘estefa’ are discussed. Then, purification of its meaning is done. Finally, seyr-e mostafavin (the course of the chosen) over time and the meaning layers of ‘estefa’ are presented.
